Tiny House Question
This question was submitted by Tiny House Australia
Jim, do you incorporate Steel frames into ALL the Tiny Houses that you build? Or is it just an option?? And also… DO you also provide the frames ONLY, for people to buy to put together and finish themselves? Or do you do the WHOLE build for them?
Our steel frames are an option although as the units get larger as in RV’s, we prefer using the steel frames as steel weighs less than wood. We also sell just steel frames aka our naked cabin lines as well custom packages to folks who want to jump start their project. We also sell wood and welded steel framed turnkey tiny homes as well as tiny homes that can be ordered for any stage of completion between the kit and a turnkey unit. An example of this unit would be our bunkhouse model. We are a custom builder so we build to satisfy the customers’ needs and requirements.

Most folks that build steel frame screw them together. We screw ours as a step before the welding all the steel together to make the trailer and frame integral with each other. This creates a stronger unit that will withstand the vibration of being towed.
